Customer Relationship Manager (CRM)

Work Overview

A CRM will effectively migrate, onboard and train customers.

Some examples of tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Setup database and website migrations with customer input and feedback
  • Lead virtual design and implementation meetings with customers
  • Update and maintain detailed correspondence in Slack and Notion
  • Create and update training materials

Key Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to learn new skills
  • Superior communication and writing skills
  • 1-5 years experience with customers in a sales or customer support role 
  • A good command of the English language 
  • Working knowledge of  one or more of the following products: WildApricot, WordPress, Formstack, Integromat
  • Familiar with Google Data Studio, Google Analytics, LastPass, SnagIT, Slack, Notion and Zoom 
  • Intermediate knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Experience with JavaScript, PHP or REST APIs is a plus

Compensation

  • Part-time compensation ranges between $25-50 per hour and can vary with experience and expertise demonstrated

WordPress Plugin Developer

The WordPress Plugin Developer will help create and maintain Wild Apricot Press suite of plugins and add-ons.

Some examples of tasks include but are not limited to:

Key Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent customer service orientation and ability to learn new skills
  • Good communication and writing skills
  • Excellent electronic communication etiquette skills including a good command of the English language 
  • Working knowledge of  one or more of the following products: WordPress, WildApricot, PHP development, JavaScript
  • Intermediate knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Experience with PHP, JavaScript and REST APIs is a must.

Compensation

  • Part-time compensation is $35-70 per hour, but can vary with experience and expertise demonstrated
  • Full time (35-40 hours per week) co-op and internships are paid on a per month fixed fee.

QuickBooks for Wild Apricot Administrator

The QuickBooks for Wild Apricot Administrator will help install QuickBooks for Wild Apricot product.

Some examples of tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Connect WildApricot accounting requirements to existing QuickBooks Destktop/Online customer setups
  • Training NewPath customers and staff on the capabilities of QuickBooks for Wild Apricot
  • Maintain online documentation
  • Maintain correspondence through our customer support system, Slack, Notion

Key Skills and Competencies

  • Deep knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices
  • Excellent customer service orientation and ability to learn new skills
  • Good communication and writing skills
  • Excellent electronic communication etiquette skills including a good command of the English language 
  • Working knowledge of  one or more of the following products: QuickBooks Desktop for Canadian and US businesses, QuickBooks Online, Wild Apricot, Make

Compensation

  • Part-time compensation is $35-60 per hour, but can vary with experience and expertise demonstrated
  • This is a contract position that is commensurate with customer demand

Marketing Grunt & Influencer

Our Web Marketing Manager will lead and implement all our online marketing efforts including:

  • Creating original content for our website and email campaigns
  • Collaborating with our partners on webinars and other co marketing efforts 
  • Creating original graphics and agendas for our product and services
  • Ensuring ongoing social media campaigns are well fed and monitored 
  • Monitoring our Google analytics and email marketing performance to hit our KPIs

Some examples of tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Composing and sending a monthly newsletter out to our mailing list
  • Updating our collateral for distribution to prospects (presentations and brochures)
  • Writing and researching blog posts
  • Creating short video explainer videos

Key Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent design and marketing skills and ability to learn new skills
  • Superior communication and writing skills
  • 1-5 years experience with content  marketing
  • A good command of the English language
  • Ability to speak and write in French language a plus
  • Working knowledge of  one or more of the following sevices: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, WordPress, Canva

Compensation & Benefits

  • Part-time compensation ranges between $25-40 per hour and can vary with experience and expertise demonstrated
  • Technical and Non-technical training is provided, and time spent during training is compensated as part of this position.
  • Opportunity to expand experience working in remote-first or work from home
