Alex,

Thank you so very much for sending over the Anything You Want book. It is a quick read.  (I didn't put it down.) And full of terrific messages.  (I never mark up books but had no choice in this one but to highlight my favourite lessons.)

I see why you chose to share it.  (I intend to do likewise, beginning with my entrepreneurial daughters.) Nobody explains 'focus on customers' and 'doing what gives you enjoyment' better than this author.

Thanks again.  Lunch on me next time we get together!

Regards,
Bob

Hi Alex,

I just read it tonight. Very inspiring. Thank you.
I've just launched a new version of my website  http://landscapearchitectureresource.com/. It started as a blog 5 years ago when I was a practicing landscape architect. I've since transitioned into internet marketing and have been a part of a couple web-based startups to date. No home runs yet. The new version of LAR has a bunch of features like a job board and professional directories.
The book has given me some ideas on how to grow my business–I guess the central theme is to help my customers. I've been so involved in the details of developing the site that I had kind of lost focus on why the site was a good idea anyway. I've already emailed a few members with the new mindset of helping them grow their businesses, and in so doing benefiting myself.
Anyway, thanks for the book. I don't really want to part with my copy as I should benefit from reading it again in 3 months. But I will tell others about it and I'm sure bring it up in conversation regularly.
Cheers,
Dan Wood
