On April 1 2011, NewPath Technologies launched an email campaign to give away ebooks or print copies of the new book by Gary Vaynerchuk called “The Thank You Economy”.
We sent out over 650 emails to the best friends of NewPath Technologies. Emails went all around the world. And the response has been terrific. The first send had almost a 25% open rate. A follow up campaign 1 week later to those that didn’t click yielded another 8% for a total rate of over 30%!
And 19 people have taken advantage of the offer using the following means:
And here’s the most amazing thing of all — as a lead generation tool this campaign yielded a terrific response. 42% wanted to hear more about NewPath Technologies, and 11% had a referral for a small business they knew that could use NewPath services!
The follow ups begin now to get comments on what the recipients thought about the book and to describe the NewPath Technologies services to the interested parties. We’ll email a link to this post to all folks who have read the book and accept comments here for 2 weeks. Finally we’ll post a full review after 3 weeks when folks have all received and (hopefully) read their copies of “The Thank You Economy.” If you know of a small business that wants to amplify their presence online, please let us know.
